Fox News host Jesse Watters predicted that Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s independent presidential campaign would cost President Joe Biden the White House.
- It’s been reported that Kennedy will announce his plans to drop out of the Democratic presidential primary to run as an independent on October 9th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- Biden has notably decided not to engage in a back and forth with Kennedy during the primary, including refusing to debate him.
“Kennedy’s independent run will devastate Biden’s shot at re-election,” Watters claimed on his Fox News primetime show on Friday night. “Kennedy is polling at 15% with Democrats. If Biden’s the nominee, 15% of American Democrats will have Kennedy as an option. Melon-scooping a critical piece of the base away from Joe.”
