Target teams with Homeland Security to combat theft as shoplifting scourge grows

The retail giant announced it promised to make “significant investments in cyber defense” as it scrambles to tackle spiraling crime.

The company enacted new store policy changes, namely its decision to team up with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Homeland Security Investigations.
